Shai Gilgeous-Alexander U 43.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115)

While this is a great matchup against a Pelicans’ defense that ranks 28th in efficiency, Gilgeous-Alexander should fall short of this high 43.5 PRA combo line tonight. Chet Holmgren will be available for the Thunder tonight, and while this is great news for Oklahoma City as a team, Holgrem’s presence hurts Gligeous-Alexander’s role.

In the 11 games the guard has played alongside Holmgren this season, Gilgeous-Alexnader’s usage has been 3.1 percentage points lower than his average, and he has produced 26 points, 6.2 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game. This equates to 37.9 PRA per game, and Gilgeous-Alexander has notably only cleared 43.5 PRA in one of these 11 contests with Holmgren.

Another thing working against Gigleous-Alexander is that the Thunder are a massive 17-point home favorite tonight. Oklahoma City is 9-2 with Holmgren active this season and all nine of those victories were by at least 12 points. The Thunder running away with an easy win tonight feels likely, which would likely result in Gilgeous-Alexander seeing a lighter workload than usual. All things considered, Gilgeous-Alexander’s PRA combo line should have been lower tonight. Backing him for under 43.5 PRA is a sharp move.
