The Eagles lost defensive leader Brandon Graham to a torn triceps injury in November, but the 36-year-old defensive end will likely get back on the field for the team’s Super Bowl matchup against the Chiefs. Graham’s return looks likely since the team activated him on Saturday after initially putting him on the injury report as questionable. He’s looking to return and be back on the field for the first time since the team’s 37-20 win over the Rams in Week 12.

Graham’s history with the Eagles
Graham has been with the Eagles since 2010 when he was a first-round pick out of Michigan. He has played a total of 206 games for the team, more than any other player in team history. He was also part of the Super Bowl-winning squad in 2018.
He had a sack and two tackles in the Eagles’ 41-33 victory over the Patriots in that game. His sack in that contest was the pivotal strip sack that took the ball out of Tom Brady’s hands (literally) and secured the Eagles’ win. He has risen to the occasion with 5.5 sacks in his 11 career playoff games. When the Eagles played the Chiefs in 2023, Graham played 33% of snaps but did not have a tackle or sack.
This season, Graham was getting consistent playing time, once again logging 40-60% of snaps in most contests. He had 3.5 sacks in 11 games this season to bring his career total to 76.5. He had one sack in each of his last two games against the Commanders and the Rams, as well.

The real question with this prop is how much Graham will be able to play even though he’s active.

His return from such a significant injury will be inspirational on any level for the Eagles’ defense, and if he gets a sack that would be even more impressive. He’s been a full participant in practice, though, so there is a real chance that he will contribute on Sunday. The Eagles sure seem to think so since they made the move to activate him.
The Chiefs have allowed 46 sacks in their 21 regular-season and postseason games, so there will likely be sacks available if the venerable veteran has enough gas left in the tank.
