The Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl this Sunday, and DraftKings Sportsbook has you covered plenty of betting options available.
With props ranging from the color of the Gatorade bath to rushing yardage and everything in between, let’s hone in on one of those anytime TD bets here.
Will A.J. Brown catch a touchdown pass in Super Bowl LIX?
On DraftKings Sportsbook, A.J Brown is listed at +165 odds to score a touchdown in the Super Bowl, and he carries +1200 odds to score two or more on the evening.
Brown finished second on the team in regular-season touchdown receptions this season with seven on the campaign, just one behind fellow wideout DeVonta Smith. Brown also tallied 11 red-zone targets on the season, just one shy of Smith in that category, as well.
Brown’s performance in Philly’s first playoff game against the Rams was subpar, catching just two of seven targets for 14 yards, he put up a significantly better effort against the Commanders with six catches for 96 yards and a score on eight targets.
It’s clear the Eagles want to ensure Brown is involved as the primary option in the passing game, so expect him to see at least five or six targets, if not more, against the Chiefs on Sunday.
Kansas City’s defense is amazing, and defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo is sure to come up with a nasty game plan for this one. However, the Chiefs will have their hands full trying to limit Saquon Barkley’s effectiveness on the ground, which could leave them vulnerable to the passing attack.
Brown is a physical receiver who brings a contested catch game as well as field-stretching ability to the table, and with Smith and tight end Dallas Goedert also on the field with Barkley… someone is going to score, even against this talented defense. As the most talented pass catcher in the offense, Brown is a great bet at plus-money to reach the end zone.
