Fans and fantasy players may get their first look at the new-look Dallas Mavericks on Thursday when Dallas visits Boston in an NBA Finals rematch. The Mavs upgraded recently acquired Anthony Davis to questionable for the matchup, according to Grant Afseth:

Since Dereck Lively II (ankle), P.J. Washington (personal), Dwight Powell (hip) and Caleb Martin (trade pending) were all ruled out, Davis could step right into a very large role for the Mavs since they’ll be thin in the frontcourt.
Davis has been out since Jan. 28 with an abdominal strain but prior to that injury, he played 42 of 45 games this season for the Lakers, producing an impressive 25.7 points, 11.9 rebounds, 2.1 blocks and 1.3 assists in 34.3 minutes per game. He had 24 points and eight rebounds in 30 minutes in the Lakers’ win over Boston during rivalry week a few weeks ago, and now he may get a chance to face the Celtics again in his Mavericks’ debut.
If Davis is not quite ready to return yet, Kessler Edwards will likely get another start at forward, but he went scoreless in 23 minutes in his start on Tuesday in Philadelphia. Naji Marshall picked up the slack off the bench, producing 19 points in 26 minutes while Max Christie also looked strong in his Dallas debut, finishing with 15 points and nine rebounds in the second unit.
