Three years later, Lamar is gearing up to headline the halftime show for Super Bowl LIX, bringing along fellow star and TDE artist SZA. After the groundbreaking year Kendrick had in 2024, I have zero doubts fans on February 9th are in for a special treat—unless your name is Drake…then maybe look away. For one, “squabble up” has circulated pop culture for longer than its release on GNX, igniting dances and videos across the internet for months. This track also possesses an addicting melody that is upbeat, welcoming, and simply makes you want to dance. Hitting “squabble up” to open, bridging to “tv off” and cascading the vibe down to “luther” ft. SZA feels like an eye-capturing sequence of songs to begin what should be a legendary performance.
