Super Bowl 2025 Swiftie Special: Will Patrick Mahomes have 15+ rushing yards and 215+ passing yards?

The stars will be out for Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans this Sunday. As Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce take on Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts for all the glory, DraftKings is offering plenty of betting specials for the big game.

With over 30 Swiftie Specials available on DraftKings Sportsbook, let’s hone in on the one at the top of the list: Patrick Mahomes to record 15+ rushing yards and 215+ passing yards.

The “Fifteen” special comes in at -175, and there’s certainly a reason for the favored odds. Mahomes threw for at least 215 yards in 11 of 16 regular season contests, and one of his two playoff games thus far in the postseason. That comes out to 12/18 total games, good for a 66% mark. He also came just five yards short of that tally in one additional contest.

As for the rush yards, Mahomes hit the 15-yard mark on the ground in nine regular season games, as well as one playoff game. At a hit rate of 10/18 total contests, the 15+ line hit over half the time. When it comes to near-misses, Mahomes failed to record at least 10 rush yards just four times in 18 appearances, so he flirts near the 15+ mark more often than not.

Now to put the two together. In the 12 games in which Mahomes threw for at least 215 passing yards, he recorded at least 15 rush yards seven times.

Keep in mind that the Eagles possess a fantastic pass rush and are almost guaranteed to pressure Mahomes throughout Super Bowl LIX. He’ll likely be forced to use his legs plenty on Sunday, and as we’ve seen over the last few seasons, Mahomes’ signature third-down scramble is maybe the second-best cheat code play in the NFL (behind only Philly’s own tush push).

Reaching 215 yards through the air and an additional 15 on the ground is certainly an achievable accomplishment for the Chiefs’ star signal-caller. He’ll have to be on his A-game in this one, but the bright lights aren’t a problem, either. Mahomes reached both yardage marks in three of his four Super Bowl appearances, and in the one instance he didn’t, he only missed out on the passing yards portion.
