The NBA has a big Monday night schedule with some great matchups on tap, including the Rockets visiting Madison Square Garden to take on the Knicks. The game tips off at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBA TV and should be a very entertaining matchup to watch. Let’s take a look at my top three Rockets and Knicks prop bets to consider.
The Knicks are 6.5-point home favorites in this matchup, which has a point total of 224 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Coming into the game, the Knicks are 32-17, sitting third in the Eastern Conference, while the Rockets are 32-16 and hold the No. 3 spot in the West. The two teams met in November in Houston, and the Rockets won 109-97.
For this rematch, the Rockets will be without Fred VanVleet (ankle) and could also be without Alperen Sengun (calf), who is questionable. The Knicks ruled OG Anunoby (foot) out on Monday, but they upgraded Josh Hart (knee) to probable.

Amen Thompson over 30.5 points + rebounds + assists (-125)
Thompson’s PRA (points + rebounds + assists) number is basically even money for him to get at least 31. The versatile swingman just turned 22 four days ago and is in the midst of a true breakout campaign for the Rockets.
Over his 13 games in 2025, Thompson is averaging 17.8 points, 10.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 38.8 minutes per game. That’s an average of 32.8 PRA over that stretch. He has gone over this line in eight of those games (62%).
In three games without VanVleet this year, Thompson averaged 18.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists for 30.3 PRA. In the only game in 2025 that FVV was sidelined, Thompson had 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for 35 PRA against the Kings.
If Sengun is out as well as VanVleet, that would leave even more offense available for Thompson and make this number even more achievable. His usage rate increases more than two percentage points to 20.3% with those two starters off the floor.
Even though the youngster has been volatile, making this no lock, I like the value in getting him at this number as he steps onto the big stage at Madison Square Garden. If you’re more confident he goes off, you could even back him to record a double-double at +115 or to get to 40+ PRA at +425.
Mikal Bridges 4+ rebounds (+155)
This will be the first game the Knicks play this year without Anunoby, so we’re not sure exactly how the rotation will be impacted. One possible place to get some traction is in Bridges’ rebounding numbers. With OG on the floor, Bridges rebound rate is just 4.69%, but it increases to 5.12% with OG off the floor.
Bridges has been playing big minutes all year, averaging 38.3 minutes per contest and getting 3.1 rebounds per game. With Anunoby sidelined and Hart hurting, Bridges could pick up some of the slack on the boards, especially if the Rockets and Knicks go small with the bigger forwards banged up on both squads.
In his last seven games, Bridges has gone over this line three times, so with just a few more boards up for grabs, he should be able to deliver at this nice plus-money number against the Rockets. If you want to get in on the action but this feels too bold, you can play him for over 2.5 rebounds at -154, a mark he’s hit in 30 of his 49 games this season (61%).
Jalen Brunson over 2.5 three-pointers (+124)
I was in on Brunson on this same prop on Saturday against the Lakers, but he didn’t hit either of his three-point attempts. The number is even better for this contest, so I’m backing him to hit three three-pointers or more once again. He has hit this number in exactly half of his games, but he’s been on a hot streak lately, so getting him to bounce back and go over this line at plus-money makes sense on Monday.
He had hit at least three three-pointers in each of his last three games and in six of his last seven before coming up short on Saturday night. In his first game against Houston, Brunson hit two three-pointers on his way to 29 points.
