There is no game with more betting excitement than the Super Bowl! Here is a breakdown of all of the different ways you can bet on the big game on DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Super Bowl is the most bet-on event in America every year. Not only because it is such a high-profile and widely watched game, but because of the expansive betting markets available. DraftKings Sportsbook is the best place to bet on Super Bowl LIX because of the great odds and all of the different betting options.
Whether you want to bet on basic game lines like the spread or total or you want to dive into the player prop market, there are plenty of ways to attack the betting market. There are even unique markets for the Super Bowl that wouldn’t be available for a normal game, such as the novelty prop market.
Game Lines
The game lines tab on DraftKings Sportsbook is the place to bet on the spread, total and moneyline. The Chiefs are small favorites on the spread and the moneyline, meaning they are favored to win the game. If you bet on the moneyline, you are betting on who will win the game. The Chiefs are -1.5 on the spread, so you would need them to win by two points or more to win the bet. This is a very tight spread but if the Chiefs end up winning by exactly one point, Eagles +1.5 would be a winning bet. The total is the combined points scored between the two teams and you can bet on whether they will combine for over or under 48.5 points.
There are also alternate spreads and totals where you can bet on the spread or total to hit by a wider margin. Even though the Chiefs are only favored by 1.5 points, if you think they will win by at least a touchdown, you could bet them -6.5 at odds of +213 rather than the basic -110. That means instead of having to bet $110 to win $100, you would win $213 on a $100 bet. You can do the same with the Eagles if you think they can win the game by a significant margin. The tab on DraftKings Sportsbook makes it easy to slide the alternate spread so that you can see what the odds would be at any number.
In addition to the full game spread, total and moneyline, you can also bet on the spread, total and moneyline for each half and quarter.
Touchdown Scorers
Touchdown scorers are always some of the most popular bets during the NFL season and it’s no different during the Super Bowl. You can bet on a player to score a touchdown at any point in the game, bet on the game’s first touchdown scorer or bet on a player to score multiple touchdowns. Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts score an overwhelming majority of the Eagles’ touchdowns, so they have the best odds to score in the Super Bowl. However, you can also try to find value in a player like Patrick Mahomes or Dallas Goedert to score a touchdown. An anytime touchdown scorer bet only applies to rushing, receiving, defensive or special teams touchdowns. So, when Patrick Mahomes is listed at +300 to score a touchdown, that only applies to a rushing or receiving touchdown, not a passing touchdown.
For the Super Bowl, there are way more options than the standard touchdown bets as well. You can bet on who will score the first touchdown for each team, parlays of certain players to score and for their team to win and many other touchdown betting options. For example, if you think Barkley will score early in the game, you can bet Barkley to score a touchdown in the first half at odds of +140, rather than the full game odds of -190.
Player Props
There is a plethora of player props available to bet for the Super Bowl. There are passing, rushing, receiving, defensive and special teams props available to bet on for almost every player on the two rosters. There are basic props like the over/under on how many passing yards, rushing yards and receptions a given player will have. Other than betting the listed over/under, you can also scroll through a list of possible yardages or other prop numbers and see what the odds would be for a player to hit that given number. For example, you can pick from intervals of ten yards for these top pass catchers and see what the odds would be for them to reach these totals.
If you want to see every prop available for a certain player, you can easily do that as well. Just go to a page like the one above that would display the player you are looking for and click on their name. That will take you to the player landing page with every possible prop you can bet on that specific player. For example, here is what a glimpse of Patrick Mahomes’ player prop page looks like.
It lists all of the props available for that specific player and even lists their season average for each of the props to save you some time in your research.
Game Props
Game props are prop bets that determine how the game will go overall, but that are not related to specific players. For example, you can bet on whether the game will go to overtime like last season’s Super Bowl did.
Here is a list of a few other game props available to bettors at DraftKings Sportsbook:
- Which team will be the first to score 5, 10 or 20 points?
- Whether each team will score at least 20 points
- Will there be a successful 2-point conversion?
- The exact final score of the game
- Will there be a successful onside kick?
These are just a few of the many game props available. If you aren’t sure which team will win or exactly how the game will go, some of these props still give you a ton of fun action without the need to root for a specific team or player.
Team Props
Player props allow you to bet on how each player will perform, game props allow you to bet on how the game will go overall, and team props allow you to bet on the performance of each of the two teams. For example, if you think the Chiefs’ offense will perform well but you aren’t sure who will be scoring the touchdowns, you can bet their team total for touchdowns over 2.5. Player props would allow you to bet on Travis Kelce or Kareem Hunt to score those touchdowns but if you aren’t confident in any individual player, you can just bet on the team hitting that mark. There are also ways to parlay which team will score first and win the game or if a team will come from behind to win the game.
Game Leaders
Game leaders are some of the most fun bets that you can place on the Super Bowl. The prop bets on this tab allow bettors to wager on which players will lead the game in receiving yards, receptions and rushing yards. A.J. Brown is the favorite to lead the game in receiving yards, Travis Kelce is the favorite to lead the game in receptions and Saquon Barkley is a heavy favorite to lead the game in rushing yards. You can also bet on the “Triple Crown.” The Triple Crown is basically a parlay of who will lead the game in passing yards, rushing yards and receiving yards. The Mahomes, Kelce and Barkley combination is the favorite to win the Triple Crown at +500.
Coin Toss
The coin toss is always one of the most popular bets at the Super Bowl. DraftKings Sportsbook offers +100 on both sides of the coin toss. You can get the same odds on which team will win the coin toss. There is even a third market on if a team will win the coin toss and also win the game. The Chiefs are technically the “away” team for this game, which means that they get to make the heads or tails call. In Super Bowl history, tails has hit 30 times and heads has hit 28 times.
Gatorade Color
In addition to the coin toss, the Gatorade color is one of the most popular Super Bowl bets every year. This bet is on what color the Gatorade will be that gets dumped on the winning head coach at the end of the game. Purple is the top color because Andy Reid has gotten a purple Gatorade bath after both of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl wins in the past two years. After the NFC Championship Game, Nick Sirianni got a yellow Gatorade bath, so that is also among the top choices. Yellow/green was also the color that the Eagles dumped on Doug Pederson after their last Super Bowl victory.
Novelty Props
On top of the coin toss and Gatorade markets, there are some other fun novelty props to explore at DraftKings Sportsbook. One basic novelty prop that is available is whether there will be a flea flicker. It is currently listed at +200 for there to be a flea flicker with the “no flea flicker” option listed at -250.
Another exciting novelty prop is the jersey number of the first touchdown scorer. To win the bet, you just need to be on the right side of the number, which is set at 15.5. Going under that number would include the likes of Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes and A.J. Brown. Going over that number would include players like Saquon Barkley, Travis Kelce and Kareem Hunt. There is a great balance of players on each side of that number, making it an exciting bet on both sides.

Same Game Parlay (SGP)
Same game parlays are always a popular way to bet on the Super Bowl. This feature allows you to combine many of the bets from across all of these different categories into one bet with larger odds for each leg that you add. The team at DraftKings Sportsbook also came up with some “Quick SGPs” for bettors to wager on for this game and they are sorted by their odds. A basic SGP you could bet at odds of +160 would be for the Chiefs to win, the Chiefs to score over 24.5 points and the Chiefs to score 3+ touchdowns. You can also try a longshot SGP like this one at odds of +2000: Kareem Hunt, Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy all to score a touchdown. In addition to these Quick SGPs, you can go to the same game parlay tab and craft your own parlay to be as simple or complex as you wish.
DK Squares
Squares have always been an essential part of Super Bowl betting. DK Squares allows you to do your squares betting right on the DraftKings Sportsbook app. Squares allow bettors to pick the final digit of each team’s score at the end of each quarter. For example, if the score at the end of the first quarter is Chiefs 7-Eagles 7, then the winning square would be 7:7. If the halftime score is 21-14, the winning square would be 1:4. Rather than being randomized like some squares, you can actually pick which numbers you want. Therefore, you can pick more popular “football numbers” like 1, 3, 4 or 7. You can pick a square to hit for any of the four quarters or specifically for the final score.
Super Bowl LIX Specials
Finally, there is a section full of special bets just for the Super Bowl that would not be available for a normal game. Because there are so many specials for this game, the “Trending Specials” tab gives you the most popular specials across each category. For example, you can bet the “Dual Threat,” which requires Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes to combine for seven total rushing and passing touchdowns.
The passing, rushing and receiving specials all have unique twists on some of the props you would find under the normal player props tab. For example, you can bet on a player to have a reception in the first quarter. You can also bet on whether over 2.5 players will have a passing attempt if you expect a Philly Special-type play at some point. You can also bet on the total rushing yards for each team rather than the over/under on rushing yards for a specific player.

These are just a few examples of the fun “Specials” bets you can place on the Super Bowl.
Swiftie Specials
It wouldn’t be a Super Bowl starring Travis Kelce without a full “Swiftie Specials” tab of bets. The experts at DraftKings Sportsbook have come up with a great list of special bets that are correlated to titles from Taylor Swift songs. There are great options whether you are a Chiefs fan who wants to bet on “Fearless,” where Mahomes needs to run for 5+ yards in each quarter, or an Eagles fan who wants to bet on “I Knew You Were Trouble,” where Barkley combines for 250+ rushing and receiving yards. There are simple “Swiftie Specials” as well, like betting on the Eagles to score first but the Chiefs to win, or you can try some of the longshot specials.
Super Bowl MVP
The Super Bowl MVP is one of the most popular bets every year. As the quarterback of the team favored to win the game, Patrick Mahomes is also the favorite to win the MVP at +120. Normally, the two quarterbacks have the two best odds to win the MVP, but Saquon Barkley is an exception to the rule. The soon-to-be NFL Offensive Player of the Year has the second-best odds to win the MVP at +260, with Jalen Hurts just behind at +350. There is then a major drop-off to skill-position players like Travis Kelce, Xavier Worthy and A.J. Brown.
In addition to betting on which player will win the MVP, you can also bet on which position will win the MVP. Barkley might have the second-best odds to win the award, but a running back has not won a Super Bowl MVP since Terrell Davis in 1998. Mahomes has been the MVP in all three of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl wins over the past five years. Since Davis won in 1998, there have been 26 Super Bowl MVPs. Of those 26, 17 have gone to quarterbacks, five have gone to wide receivers and four have gone to defensive players. The best odds among defensive players between the two teams is the Chiefs’ Chris Jones at +6000.
