Magic -5 (-112)
The Magic and Jazz have both had their struggles this season, but after a rough January, they’ll look to start February on the right foot. The Jazz have dropped eight straight games, and while the Magic have shown some life at times, they’ve also faced challenges, including recent losses in two of their last three. Utah’s lack of consistency has been a significant issue, and with Lauri Markkanen still not firing on all cylinders, the Magic should have the edge at home. Expect Orlando to cover the -5 spread in this matchup.
Suns -3.5 (-112)
The Phoenix Suns are coming off a dominant 130-105 victory against the Golden State Warriors and will look to continue their momentum when they face the Portland Trail Blazers. While the Blazers are playing their best basketball of the season, winning six of their last seven, the Suns’ dynamic duo of Kevin Durant and Devin Booker has been unstoppable. Even though Durant saw his 20-point streak end, the Suns still had an impressive offensive outing. Phoenix’s offense should overpower Portland, allowing it to cover the -3.5 spread.
Pacers -9.5 (-105)
Indiana has been on a roll, winning four of its last five, and it’ll look to extend its strong play against the Hawks. Atlanta has been in free fall, losing seven straight games, as injuries to players like Jalen Johnson and Clint Capela have added up, which makes its road trip even more difficult. With the Pacers’ potent offense, including standout performances from Pascal Siakam and Tyrese Haliburton, they should cover the -9.5 spread against a depleted Hawks squad.
Nikola Jokic Over 49.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120)
Nikola Jokic has been playing at an MVP-caliber all season, and this game against the Charlotte Hornets is no exception. Coming off a near triple-double performance against the Philadelphia 76ers, Jokic will likely dominate this young Hornets squad. Mark Williams is back in the lineup, but playing without LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller, Josh Okogie, Grant Williams and Tre Mann is a lot to overcome. Charlotte has become an exciting young team when healthy, but it’s missing key players and has struggled defensively. Jokic should easily exceed the 49.5 combined points, rebounds and assists.
Jalen Green Over 21.5 Points (-120)
Jalen Green has been on fire for the Rockets and has averaged 25 points over his last two games. With injuries affecting the team and Alperen Sengun’s status unclear, Green will be relied upon for offense against the Nets. Brooklyn just snapped its seven-game losing streak, but with the Rockets relying heavily on Green regardless, he should hit the over on 21.5 points against a rebuilding team—barring a bad shooting night.
