Fred VanVleet Injury Update: February 1 vs. the Nets

UPDATE: VanVleet won’t return to tonight’s game against the Nets.

UPDATE: Aaron Holiday is starting the second half for VanVleet.

Fred VanVleet limped off the court with an apparent ankle injury and went to the locker room. The veteran guard left the game late in the second quarter.

The severity of the injury is currently unknown. It would be a notable loss for the Rockets as he’s played and started in 44 games this season. He has only missed three contests up to this point.

VanVleet had three points and two assists in 17 minutes tonight.
