In the late game on Friday night’s NBA schedule, the Phoenix Suns visit the Golden State Warriors in another important Western Conference matchup. The Suns are 1.5-point road favorites with the point total at 228.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Suns have a slightly better record at 24-22 while the Warriors are 24-23. Phoenix holds the ninth spot in the Western Conference, and the Warriors are No. 11. This will be the third meeting of the season between these teams with the Suns winning 113-105 in Phoenix at the end of November and the Warriors winning 109-105 at the end of December.

Kevin Durant over 2.5 three-pointers (+140)
Durant will be back by the Bay to face his former team, and he is coming into the matchup with some good momentum. He was questionable with a thumb injury coming into Wednesday’s loss to the Wolves, but he scored 33 points in 40 minutes in that game, making four three-pointers. It was his fourth straight game with at least four three-pointers, and he has at least seven three-point attempts in each of those contests.
Before this recent three-point barrage, KC was under 2.5 three-pointers in 11 of his previous 12 games, but he seems to have found a great groove from the outside over the last couple of games. Durant is now averaging 2.3 three-pointers per game on the season.
Earlier this season, he made three three-pointers in one of his two matchups with the Warriors. This definitely isn’t a lock, but with how well he’s been shooting lately, it’s a great spot to get plus money.
Bradley Beal over 12.5 points (-115)
Beal has gone over this total in 70% of his games this season, scoring at least 13 points in 23 of his 33 games this season. He’s averaging 16.9 points per game and seems to be past the ankle injury that cost him three games in the middle of this month.
Even though he has moved to a bench role, Beal averaged 31 minutes over his last ten contests while producing 14.9 points per game. He did have just nine points in a down game against the Clippers on Monday but bounced back with 17 points against the Timberwolves.
He has scored at least 15 points in each of his last ten games against the Warriors. He missed one of the games against them earlier this season but scored 28 points in their other matchup.
Beal’s usage off the bench isn’t quite as secure as it was earlier in the season, but the rotation has worked with him in the second unit, and he still has a good shot to go over this
Brandin Podziemski over 1.5 three-pointers (+154)
The Warriors rotation in the backcourt is a little crowded since the addition of Dennis Schroder, but now that Podziemski is back from his abdomen injury, it looks like he’ll step back into a meaningful role.
The second-year guard enjoyed extra playing time against the Jazz with Stephen Curry (knee) out and had four three-pointers and 20 points in that contest on Tuesday. He played 15 fewer minutes the following night and only made one three-pointer while still scoring 11 points.
Before that game, Podziemski had hit multiple three-pointers in ten of his previous 12 games (not counting the one in which he was injured). He made two three-pointers in his first game against the Suns but left the second game after just 11 minutes with that injury.
He’s averaging 1.2 three-pointers on the season but has been consistent enough lately to make him a good target at plus money in this matchup. Another play that makes sense for Podziesmki is for 10+ points at +105, but I like the extra juice in going for three-pointers.
