Josh Hart Injury Update: February 1 vs. the Lakers

The New York Knicks listed Hart as questionable for their Saturday night showdown when the Lakers visit Madison Square Garden.

Hart has appeared as questionable on the Knicks’ injury report before each of the team’s last three games due to a sore right knee. However, he has been able to play through the issue and average 13.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.7 steals and 33.4 minutes per game. While those minutes are slightly lower than his season average, that is mostly due to the team’s blowout wins over the Kings and Grizzlies.

On Thursday, Hart had 15 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals in 34 minutes against the Nuggets, in what was New York’s fifth straight victory.

If Hart is forced to miss this game against his former team, Miles McBride and Landry Shamet would likely get more time on the wing. Be sure to check back on Hart’s status before tip-off Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. ET.
