Alperen Sengun Injury Update: February 1 vs. the Nets

After missing Thursday night’s game due to a calf injury, All-Star center Alperen Sengun is once again on the injury report.

The Rockets’ big man is officially listed questionable for Saturday’s 8 p.m. EST contest vs. the Brooklyn Nets.

Sengun, in his fourth NBA season, recently earned the first All-Star selection of his career. The 22-year-old is averaging a double-double with 19.1 points and 10.4 boards a game. The Turkish big is also dishing out 5.0 assists to go along with 2.1 stocks per contest.

When Sengun missed Thursday’s 120-119 loss to the Grizzlies, veteran center Steven Adams received the starting nod. He notched an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double with an additional three assists.

The Rockets will look to bounce back in what should be a fairly painless contest against the Nets. With a 32-15 record, Houston remains second-place in the Western Conference amidst an impressive campaign.
