The 76ers finally found some footing in an underwhelming season. The team is on a three-game winning streak, and Tyrese Maxey has a lot to do with it.
The fifth-year guard is averaging 27.1 points per game and has scored 43, 31 and 29 points in the last three outings.
The 76ers look to continue their win streak against the Kings at home. This is the second game of a six-game homestand for Philadelphia, but the team will be without Paul George tonight. Maxey will have free reign over the offense yet again.
That said, the 76ers are eight-point underdogs at home and the game total is set at 232 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Below, I have featured my favorite Maxey prop bets to consider from this contest.
Best Tyrese Maxey Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Tyrese Maxey over 31.5 points (-110)
Let’s not get fancy with it — Maxey is in line for another strong scoring performance tonight. The 76ers guard has been on a tear lately and will be the only member of the team’s big three available tonight.
With Joel Embiid and George sidelined, more shots will go Maxey’s way. Even with George on the floor, Maxey has typically led the team in scoring. The 76ers lean on Maxey and will need his scoring to stay competitive against the Kings.
Sacramento isn’t a juggernaut by any means, but its a healthy unit featuring De’Aaron Fox, DeMar DeRozan, Domantas Sabonis and Malik Monk. The Kings play at the ninth fastest pace and will likely dictate the game speed tonight. A fast-paced game will benefit Maxey’s points props, and it also helps that the Kings are 20th in opponents’ points per game.
These two teams played each other earlier this season, and Maxey scored 27 points. George played that game and took 20 shots, but he won’t play tonight. Maxey won’t get all 20 shots, but he’ll get more, which gives him a good chance to hit the over on his 31.5 points prop.
