Not many players have as strong of a resume as Nikola Jokic in the current NBA. The three-time MVP is a lead candidate for a fourth trophy while averaging a 30-point triple double on elite efficiency.
The Nuggets are a top four seed in the Western Conference largely because of Jokic’s play. Denver has won seven of its last 10 games, but it’s lost two straight entering tonight.
Tonight, the Nuggets travel to New York to face the Knicks, who are on a four-game win streak. Denver is a 2.5-point underdog on the road and the game total is set at 243 points on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Jokic can post a historic stat line on any given night regardless of the opponent. He’s one of a select few players that can do this in the current NBA.
He’ll match up with Karl-Anthony Towns, who is arguably having his best season of his career in his first year with the Knicks. While Towns’ offense and rebounding numbers are great, he still struggles with fouls and on defense.
Jokic should take advantage of this, especially in the post. If Towns gets in early foul trouble, the Knicks will likely give Precious Achiuwa more minutes. Achiuwa is a better defender than Towns, but he’s only 6-foot-8 and 225 pounds. Jokic is 6-foot-11 and 284 pounds.
Points should come easy against the Knicks, and the Nuggets will need him to do so with how New York has been scoring the past two games. The Knicks scored 143 points in back-to-back outings entering this matchup.
Nikola Jokic 10+ assists (-155)
As mentioned before, Jokic is averaging a 30-point triple double. It would be an average night if he hit both the points and assist prop bets.
The 10+ assist line has -155 value because Jokic has hit this mark in nine of his last 10 games. He’s also finished with at least 10 assists in 24 of 40 games this season.
