Memphis has been strong despite Ja Morant missing two games, and its deep roster has been firing on all cylinders. The Knicks have shown inconsistency against top-tier teams and will struggle to contain Memphis’ offense. With Morant sidelined and the Grizzlies boasting a high-scoring, well-balanced attack, the +3.5 spread offers great value for Memphis to cover, if not win outright.
Mavericks -12.5 (-108)
The Dallas Mavericks, dealing with injuries to key players like Luka Doncic, Dereck Lively II, Naji Marshall, Maxi Kleber, Dante Exum and Dwight Powell, face a Wizards team in free fall with 13 straight losses. Despite the Mavericks’ injury woes, they’ve been holding strong, with standout performances from Daniel Gafford in the frontcourt. Washington has been plagued by inconsistency and defensive struggles, making it an uphill battle against Dallas. The Mavericks’ offense, led by Kyrie Irving, should easily exploit Washington’s league-worst defense and cover the hefty -12.5 spread.
Suns +2 (-115)
The Suns are riding a hot streak, winning seven of their last nine games, and they’ll look to continue that momentum against a Clippers team that has been solid. Regardless, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker have been playing at a high level and have established some momentum. Despite internal team drama regarding Jusuf Nurkic’s relationship with coach Mike Budenholzer, the Suns have found chemistry with Nick Richards at center. While the Clippers have their own momentum, the +2 spread provides a solid opportunity for the Suns to cover and potentially pull off an upset.
Daniel Gafford Over 27.5 Points + Rebounds (-105)
Daniel Gafford has been the steadying force for the Dallas Mavericks without key frontcourt players. With a career-high 12.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game this season, Gafford has been a consistent double-double threat. In the Mavericks’ recent contests, especially with more minutes coming his way due to injuries to teammates, Gafford has consistently exceeded expectations. With Lively, Kleber and Powell out, the Mavericks will rely heavily on Gafford. Against the Wizards, whose defense has been porous, expect Gafford to dominate the paint and comfortably exceed 27.5 points and rebounds.
Cade Cunningham Over 41.5 PTS + REB + AST (-120)
Cade Cunningham has been the standout player for the Pistons this season, contributing heavily in points, assists and rebounds. Against a Cavaliers team that has been struggling with defense, Cunningham will have ample opportunities to post another strong all-around stat line. Coming off a performance where he racked up 35 points and 11 assists against the Magic, Cunningham’s ability to contribute in multiple areas makes the Over on his combined points, rebounds and assists an enticing bet for today.
