After only a single NBA contest took place on Sunday, we’re back with a massive 10-game featured slate tonight on DraftKings.

PG/SF Vit Krejci, Atlanta Hawks at Minnesota Timberwolves, $5,000
While this is easily the most expensive that Krejci has been in 2024-25, he somehow feels like the safest option when trying to determine the best value asset on the Hawks this evening. Krejci is directly on the heels of his best performance in some time, setting new season-highs in points (20), assists (7) and FPTS (46.0) in Saturday’s loss to the Raptors. The passing numbers are what seem like the most repeatable element of that stat line on Monday, especially given that Trae Young (hamstring) has already been ruled out and will join Jalen Johnson (shoulder) on the sideline. On the last occasion that Young missed a game, back on January 15, Krejci dished out six dimes and led all Atlanta starters with a 28.4% assist rate. You might remember Keaton Wallace ($3,800) also had a notable showing that night in Chicago. The guard registered 27 points, six assists, four steals and 53.0 FPTS in 38.4 minutes of action. The only issue? That’s the lone contest that Wallace has appeared in so far this month. If he does start again, he’s obviously viable.
SG/SF Max Strus, Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Detroit Pistons, $4,400
It’s been a slow build for Strus, who didn’t even appear in a game until late December due to injury. However, it finally looks like the wing is back at 100%. In Saturday’s narrow loss to the Rockets — a contest that was the second of a back-to-back set — Strus logged a season-high 34.8 minutes. The veteran also collected 14 points, nine rebounds and 30.75 FPTS. It was Strus’ fourth start since being reinserted into the team’s starting lineup and it appears that he’s truly playing without limitations; though a slew of injuries have been part of the equation, too. Dean Wade (knee), Caris LeVert (wrist) and Isaac Okoro (shoulder) are all currently IR mainstays, which has opened up a much larger role for Strus and consistent opportunity for Ty Jerome ($4,200) and Sam Merrill ($3,300). There’s actually a case to be made that Jerome has a higher DFS ceiling than Strus, but I’ll roll with the safer option in this matchup with the Pistons.
C Orlando Robinson, Toronto Raptors vs. New Orleans Pelicans, $3,200
There’s a path to Robinson being one of the top dollar-for-dollar plays on this whole slate. There’s also a world where the big man on a 10-day contract doesn’t even see the floor. Fun, right? Allow me to explain. With Kelly Olynyk ($3,600; calf) unavailable in Saturday’s lopsided victory over the Hawks, Robinson got his first real run as a Raptor, producing four points, six rebounds, two blocks and 16.0 FPTS in 20.4 minutes of action. He could see a similar role on Monday with Olynyk listed as questionable. Heck, with Jakob Poeltl ($6,500; back) joining Olynyk on the injury report as questionable, there’s even a chance that Robinson is Toronto’s only active man at the five-spot. The Pelicans are surrendering the third-most FPTS per game to opposing centers, so how this all shakes out is extremely important. If Poeltl is the one that ends up in street clothes, both Robinson and Olynyk are viable with price tags so close to the minimum. Keep an eye.
