The Bills visit the Chiefs on Sunday for the highly anticipated AFC Championship. On DraftKings Sportsbook, the Chiefs are a 1.5-point favorite and this game presents a total of 48.5 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite James Cook prop to consider from this contest.

Best James Cook Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

James Cook U 14.5 Rushing Attempts (-123)

This rushing attempt line is too high for Cook on Sunday. The back is averaging 12.9 carries per game and he has seen fewer than 15 carries in 10 of his 16 starts this season. Playing alongside a mobile quarterback in Josh Allen, who the Bills design many rushes for, naturally takes volume away from Cook. With Allen ranking fourth in carries among all quarterbacks, Cook has only seen 47.6% of Buffalo’s rushes this season.

The Chiefs are a stout rush defense, with them giving up eighth-fewest yards per rush this season (4.2) and when these two clubs went head-to-head in Week 9, Cook was held to a season-low 20 rushing yards on only nine carries.

The Bills being a 1.5-point underdog for this AFC Championship also doesn’t bode well for Cook to see heavy volume. In the five games that Buffalo has been an underdog this season, Cook has stayed under 14.5 carries three times. Furthermore, in Buffalo’s four losses, Cook has taken a major backseat to the Bills’ passing game. The back has only seen 11.25 carries per game in those defeats and he has stayed under 14.5 rushes in three of those four losses.
