NFC Championship Game Props: Best Bets for Jayden Daniels Against the Eagles

The Commanders take on the Eagles in a divisional rivalry matchup in the NFC Championship Game. Here are some Jayden Daniels prop bets to consider at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Jayden Daniels Prop Bets

Here are Jayden Daniels’ current prop bet odds at DraftKings Sportsbook: o/u 223.5 passing yards, o/u 1.5 passing touchdowns and o/u 55.5 rushing yards. Daniels is +205 to score a touchdown, +1700 to score 2+ touchdowns and +1300 to score the first touchdown of the game.

Jayden Daniels has been nothing short of sensational in his rookie season with the Commanders. Even if you only consider the regular season, Daniels is the runaway favorite to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year. Not only was Daniels elite for a rookie quarterback, but he was also elite amongst all NFL quarterbacks. Daniels finished 6th in the NFL among qualified quarterbacks in EPA/play and 8th in EPA+CPOE composite. In the postseason, Daniels has taken it to another level. Daniels has four passing touchdowns to zero interceptions and has only taken one sack in the two postseason games of his young career. Daniels has played mistake-free and outdueled Baker Mayfield and Jared Goff on the way to the NFC Championship. Daniels’ next goal is to be the first rookie quarterback to win a Super Bowl and he needs to knock off his division rivals on the road to do so.

These two NFC East foes played twice in the regular season and split the series. The Eagles won their home game earlier in the season and the Commanders won their home game in Week 16. That win did come in the game in which Jalen Hurts left early with a concussion, causing Kenny Pickett to play most of the game at quarterback. However, Daniels was able to attack the Eagles’ defense in that game and be very productive. Daniels finished that game with a ridiculous five passing touchdowns and 81 rushing yards. The Eagles’ had one of the best defenses in the NFL all season but they looked less convincing in the Divisional Round against the Rams. The Eagles had a major loss in the Wild Card Round when their star LB Nakobe Dean went down with a serious injury. Dean was the green dot on that defense, meaning he relayed all of the calls from the sideline to the rest of the defense and kept the group organized. Without Dean, the Eagles struggled to stop the Rams’ offense despite the snowy conditions.

My favorite prop bet for this game is for Daniels to have over 10.5 rushing attempts. Daniels will need to use his legs in this game for the Commanders to have success. Many quarterbacks run more often in the postseason and Daniels has been no different. Coaches are willing to call more designed runs in the playoffs and quarterbacks are more willing to take off and get hit when everything is on the line in the postseason. Daniels had 16 carries against the Lions and 13 against the Bucs in his two previous playoff games. The Eagles have a great secondary and when guys are covered downfield, Daniels will take off and run. He should easily clear this number just like he has in both playoff games so far.

Pick: Jayden Daniels o10.5 Rushing Attempts (-135)
