WAS Commanders at PHI Eagles: Highest Scoring Game In the Conference Championship Round (-105)
Rightfully so, the public is leaning toward Chiefs vs. Bills being another classic showdown but this feels like good value for Eagles vs. Commanders. Both offenses are electric and averaged at least 28 points per game this season. The second matchup between these teams on Dec. 22 also featured a combined 69 points. Jayden Daniels has defied all odds as a rookie quarterback and just dropped a 40-burger on the Lions last week. Chiefs vs. Bills has the marquee quarterback duel but feels like it will be decided by which defense falters first. Saquon Barkley can break this game wide open by himself and Daniels has proven he can keep up in high-scoring matchups.
All Teams to Score 1+ TD & 1+ FG in the Conference Championships (+175)
This happened in all four Divisional Round matchups and four of six Wild Card matchups. Both matchups should feature plenty of big plays and points but the defenses are also solid enough to stall drives and force field goals. The Bills’ defense completely disappears against the Chiefs in the postseason and has forced a punt just five total times in the last three playoff matchups. Kansas City will score but Buffalo’s offense has also been historic and should have few issues offensively.
All Teams to Score 1+ Rushing TDs in the Conference Championships (+230)
It’s hard to believe that this prop holds +230 odds. The Bills, Commanders and Eagles rank first, third and fourth, respectively, in rushing touchdowns per game. The Eagles vs. Commanders game should be relatively sweat-free considering both teams rank top-four in rushing EPA and field dual-threat quarterbacks. The Chiefs rank 15th due to inefficient running back play and injuries. Buffalo’s defense can be inconsistent against the run and has allowed nine rushing touchdowns in nine road games this season. Kareem Hunt and Isiah Pacheco are both exactly the type of running backs to wear down the Bills’ defense.
All Teams to Score 2+ TDs & 2+ FGs in the Conference Championships (+4000)
All four offenses rank inside the top 10 in EPA/play, so we can expect consistent ball movement. With the exception of Washington’s defense, which ranks 22nd in EPA/play, each defense is disciplined and more than capable of stalling drives. The Eagles are stacked with talent but hold the lowest offensive success rate of the four remaining teams, so inconsistencies can be expected, which will lead to field goals. The Commanders are in the midst of a magical run but still rank fourth in field goal attempts per game. Chiefs vs. Bills should be a nail-biter and each team will take any points they can get. Their offenses feature elite play-calling and quarterback play in Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, too, so touchdowns shouldn’t be an issue.
