The Commanders hope to reach their first Super Bowl in over three decades when they travel to challenge their division rival Eagles in the NFC Championship Game. Terry McLaurin had the best year of his career, earning All-Pro honors and sticking through a rebuild to help propel this team back to contention.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Washington is currently a six-point underdog, with the game’s total set at 47.5 points. Below, I’ve detailed my favorite prop bets centered around McLaurin in this impending showdown.
Best Terry McLaurin Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Terry McLaurin 50+ Receiving Yards (-215)
Terry McLaurin’s success goes beyond having a budding superstar at quarterback in Jayden Daniels. The rookie slinger is by far the most talented signal caller McLaurin’s had throughout his tenure in Washington, but he deserves credit for his own stellar campaign.
The two-time Pro Bowler has been one of the more consistent wideouts since entering the league in 2019. He has an ideal blend of physicality and speed on the perimeter and is unguardable on 50-50 balls. He’s had five straight 1,000-yard campaigns despite not receiving the volume of many other top pass catchers.
In the first meeting of the year against Philadelphia, McLaurin was invisible. The veteran finished with just one reception for 10 yards and had no answers for rookie corner Quinyon Mitchell. The second outing was far more prosperous for “Scary Terry,” who finished with five catches for 60 yards and a score.
The “others” for the Commanders, like Dyami Brown and Zach Ertz, have had impressive playoffs, and Olamide Zaccheaus had plenty of flashes in the regular season. Taking McLaurin out isn’t realistic, and he’s too talented of a vertical threat not to see some looks downfield. The 50-line mark is conservative, but it’s best to play it safe.
Terry McLaurin Anytime TD Scorer (+135)
McLaurin stands out around the goal line. He had 13 touchdowns in the regular season and a pair during the postseason. He’s lethal in the red zone and has developed an impressive rapport with Daniels in short-yardage situations. If Washington is able to get some points on the board, the sixth-year pro is likely responsible.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, parlaying these two plays currently provides +188 odds.
