LeBron James Injury Update: January 25 vs. the Warriors

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James’ status is in question for tonight’s 8:30 p.m. EST clash with the Golden State Warriors.

James is officially listed questionable due to injury management for the road matchup against a fellow Western Conference playoff hopeful.

He’s coming off a 20-point, 14-rebound, six-assist performance in a win over the Celtics on Thursday night. Overall, the 40-year-old is averaging 23.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 8.9 assists in 34.8 minutes per contest this season.

If James is out Saturday, Anthony Davis would likely see an even greater role in the Lakers’ offensive attack. Otherwise, Austin Reaves may see additional shots, while Dorian Finney-Smith and Gabe Vincent may be candidates to take on extra minutes, especially with fellow forward Rui Hachimura also questionable.

The Lakers sit 24-18 on the campaign thus far, good for fourth place in a loaded Western Conference. They currently sit three games ahead of the Warriors, so a win tonight could have major implications later in the season.
