De’Aaron Fox Injury Update: January 25 vs. the Knicks

Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox (thumb) is questionable to play Saturday on the road against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Fox is coming off an uncharacteristically poor 17-point performance in Thursday night’s loss to the Nuggets. He shot just 7-for-24 in that contest, though he logged five rebounds and six assists as well in 40 minutes.

He’ll look to bounce back against the Knicks and regain his overall form on the season. Fox is averaging 25.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 6.2 assists.

If Fox is out Saturday, Malik Monk would likely receive additional touches, while rookie Devin Carter could also see additional minutes in the rotation.

The Kings have been surging lately having won 10 of their last 12 games. Thanks to this hot streak, the team now sits ninth in the Western Conference at 23-21, keeping them in the postseason picture as they fight for a Play-In Tournament spot.
