After being rested for the last two games, Kawhi Leonard ($7,500) will return Thursday vs. the Wizards. Furthermore, James Harden ($9,500; groin), Ivica Zubac ($7,200; eye), Norman Powell ($7,400; back) and Nicolas Batum ($3,900; finger) will all play after missing Wednesday’s loss to the Celtics, while Kris Dunn (knee) will miss his second game in a row.
Thursday will be just the sixth time this season that Harden and Leonard have played together. Harden is averaging 21.3 points, 8.1 assists and 5.8 rebounds in 33.6 minutes per game with a 30.1% usage rate, while Leonard is only averaging 13.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 21.6 minutes per game with a 25.5% usage rate, as he works his way back after having yet another knee surgery this past summer.
While the Clippers are in an elite spot against a Wizards team that ranks dead-last in defensive efficiency, none of their key players are overly appealing DFS targets, as they all are priced appropriately for this matchup. Additionally, Los Angeles having all their starters available naturally hurts every one of their player’s roles. A blowout is a real possibility, as well, with the Clippers being a 14.5-point home favorite on the DraftKings Sportsbook.
With Harden and Leonard active this season, Los Angeles is 4-1.
