Brandon Miller injury update: Will miss remainder of season

Brandon Miller’s season has come to an end as the second-year forward underwent season-ending wrist surgery. He suffered the injury on Jan. 15 in a win against the Jazz.

Miller sat out the next three games following his wrist injury before news broke that he underwent surgery to repair a torn ligament in his wrist. After finishing third in the Rookie of the Year voting last year, he was up for a potential All-Star nod this year.

The Hornets will be without their rising star in yet another underwhelming season. Charlotte is 11-29, and Miller ends his season averaging 21 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
