Trae Young Under 26.5 Points (-110)

This 26.5-point line is just too high for Trae Young tonight and taking the under is a smart move. The guard struggled as a scorer last night vs. the Pistons, finishing with only 13 points with a season-low 18.6% usage rate. Jalen Johnson played in this game and is back to full strength for the Hawks, after missing some time with a shoulder injury. Young sees a slight decrease in his usage with Johnson on the court this season and in the 33 starts Young has made alongside Johnson, Young is averaging 23.0 PPG.

Also, Young’s matchup vs. the Raptors on Thursday isn’t as appealing as it seems. Toronto has won three of their last five games, with those wins coming against the Celtics, Warriors and Magic. During this five-game stretch, the Raptors have ranked 13th in the NBA in defensive rating and impressively, Toronto held both Boston and Orlando to under 100 points.

Last, but not least, Young has struggled mightily when on the second leg of a back-to-back set this season, averaging only 15.0 PPG. The veteran has played with no rest in his favor seven times in 2024-25 and Young has only scored over 26.5 points in one of those tilts.
