In one of the two late Wednesday games in the NBA, the Golden State Warriors visit the Sacramento Kings in an in-state rivalry game between Western Conference foes. The Kings are 22-20 and have climbed to the No. 8 spot in the West, while the Warriors continue to hover around .500 and are 21-21, currently 11th in the conference. For this matchup, the Kings are seven-point home favorites with the point total set at 230 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
On the injury front, the Warriors will be without Draymond Green (calf), Kyle Anderson (glute), Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) and Brandin Podziemski (abdominal) while the Kings are healthy with a clean injury report. With no one questionable, we have a pretty solid idea of what rotations will look like, so let’s dive into some of the top prop bets for this matchup.
Best Prop Bets for Kings vs. Warriors on DraftKings Sportsbook
Domantas Sabonis over 6.5 assists (-115)
While he’ll still have to go up against Trayce Jackson-Davis, the fact that the Warriors are without Draymond, Anderson and Kuminga in the frontcourt improves the matchup for Sabonis. While there are multiple ways you can attack the fantasy-friendly spot, my favorite is the over/under on his assists.
Sabonis has gone over this number in each of his last seven games against the Warriors and in eight of his last 11 overall. He came up under this total against the Wizards on Sunday in the Kings’ most recent game, but that was mostly due to a reduced workload in just 32 minutes. He still went off with 29 points and 18 rebounds, but he only handed out four helpers.
If you like the matchup for Sabonis, you can also target his points + rebounds + assists to be over 40.5 (-105) as it has gone over in 21 of his 39 games (54%) this season. I also really like the big man’s point-scoring options, which include him at +120 to score 20+ points, which he has accomplished in six of his last seven games.
Keegan Murray over 2.5 three-pointers (+150)
The Kings’ recent surge under interim coach Doug Christie has not only helped the team turn around their spot in the standings, but it has also given a big boost to Keegan Murray.
On the season, Murray is averaging just 1.8 three-pointers and 11.9 points per game, but over his last seven games, those numbers have increased to 13.0 points per game and 3.0 three-pointers per contest. He didn’t make any three-pointers on Sunday and scored just four points, but he had made at least three three’s in each of his previous six games.
He also hit three three-pointers in his earlier matchup this season against the Warriors. Given how thin the Warriors are at forward, Murray should get enough looks to give him a good shot to bounce back and go over this number on Wednesday night. Even though it’s no lock, the +150 odds make this an attractive option given his recent form.
Stephen Curry to score 25+ points (-140)
It’s hard to find a great Warriors’ player prop given their recent inconsistencies, but Steph’s numbers have actually been pretty solid most of the season. He has scored at least 25 points in six of his last eight games overall and in 15 of his last 17 games against the Kings.
Curry and the Warriors were trampled by the Celtics on Monday, and he only had 18 points. However, he also only had to play 27 minutes, so the extra rest should have him in good shape to take on a full workload against De’Aaron Fox and the Kings. Curry cooked the Kings for 26 points in 29 minutes in their first meeting this season, and he should be able to reach this level on Wednesday.
The odds for this prop aren’t especially high, but it feels like a strong option. If you’re feeling more confident in a big game from Curry, you can target him to score 30+ points (+180) or produce 40 points + rebounds + assists (+125).
