The Phoenix Suns are 21-21 on the season while being 10th in the Western Conference. They will face the Brooklyn Nets for the second time this season tonight. On November 27, the Nets beat the Suns 127-117. Tonight, Brooklyn will host Phoenix at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Let’s look at my favorite bet for Suns superstar Kevin Durant. He is averaging 27.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game this season.
Kevin Durant over 6.5 rebounds (-130)
Durant is known as an elite scorer, but he is also a good rebounder for his position. He has had at least seven boards in four of the previous five games. His over in rebounds is set at -130 on DraftKings Sportsbook for tonight’s game against his former team.
In their first matchup, Durant finished with 30 points and eight rebounds. Durant has hit this mark in exactly half of his games this season (16). With Jusuf Nurkic out tonight, Durant is second on the Suns in rebounding behind newly inquired C Nick Richards (7.5).
Although Durant averaged 6.5 boards a game in January, he has started to pick up the pace in the last five games. His point total is 26.5 for this game. He has scored more than 26.5 points three times in the previous ten games. With Durant struggling to consistently score at an elite level lately, it is wise to consider backing him in a different area.
