Edwards has played the Mavericks twice this season, scoring 37 and 26 points in those two matchups. Donte DiVincenzo played in both those games, but the guard will miss his fourth game in a row tonight with a toe injury when the Timberwolves visit the Mavericks.

With DiVincenzo out for the last three, Edwards has been lighting it up, with 36, 28, and 32 points, respectively. In these contests, the superstar’s usage has been at 33.6% – which is 2.2 percentage points higher than his season average – and he has shot 46.8% from the field, including 50% from beyond the arc.

While Dallas ranks 12th in defensive efficiency, Edwards has had no issues in this matchup this season. The tight 3.5-point spread for tonight’s meeting guarantees Edwards near 40 minutes. The shooting guard’s excellent recent run should continue in this situation, and he should exceed this 26.5-point line.
