The Heat appeared to have a relatively clean injury report heading into Tuesday’s matchup with the Trail Blazers, but as of 1:30 p.m. ET, Tyler Herro ($8,300) is now listed as questionable due to groin tightness.

PG/SG Terry Rozier, Miami Heat vs. Portland Trail Blazers, $4,800
Terry Rozier is no stranger to starting. The veteran guard has actually started 20 of the 37 games he’s appeared in so far this season, which includes most of January, where Rozier was filling in for the suspended Jimmy Butler ($7,500). Rozier is averaging 31.1 minutes per start, yet his overall numbers are shockingly similar regardless of whether or not he’s coming in off the bench. Really, Rozier’s viability tends to come down to his scoring ability. To wit, the last four times that Rozier has registered at least 15 points, he’s produced 33.3 FPTS. Most recently, Rozier posted 20 points and 35.5 FPTS in Miami’s victory over the Spurs on Sunday.
With Herro off the court this season, the Heat run a pretty balanced attack. Bam Adebayo ($7,800) leads the team in usage rate at 23.6%, with Butler and Rozier coming in just behind. Still, Butler’s looked very passive in his first two contests back from suspension, and the numbers back up the eye test, with the All-Star in possession of a 16.1% usage. That could mean more responsibility for Rozier, especially in a great matchup. Portland is giving up the fourth-most FPTS per game to opposing point guards.
