James Harden Injury Update: January 22 vs. the Celtics

Clippers PG James Harden is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Celtics due to a groin injury.

The Clippers are coming off a 112-99 loss to the Bulls on Monday evening and will look to bounce back at home vs. Boston. In his previous contest, Harden scored 17 points to go along with 10 assists and five rebounds.

The 35-year-old star is still putting up numbers in year 16 as he looks to keep the Clippers in the playoff race, averaging 24 points, 8.1 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game.

Regardless of whether or not Harden plays on Wednesday, they’ll be shorthanded against the reigning champions. Teammates Kawhi Leonard and Ivica Zubac have been ruled out, while Norman Powell is also questionable. With that in mind, Harden should be in line for a heavy workload if he’s able to suit up.

Los Angeles has a 24-18 record as the halfway mark of the season looms, good for fifth in the Western Conference.
