Pistons +8 (-108)
The Rockets have been impressive this season, but Detroit has proven it can stay competitive, even in losses. Despite losing two straight, the Pistons had been on a strong run, winning seven of eight games before their most recent defeat. Cade Cunningham continues to lead the charge with 24.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 9.4 assists per game, and his ability to distribute the ball is a crucial asset. This will be a matchup featuring two young teams that are ascending in their respective conference, but Detroit has plenty of talent in order to cover a +8 spread against Houston.
Timberwolves +5.5 (-108)
Anthony Edwards has elevated his game without Donte DiVincenzo available to play, scoring 36 points against the Knicks in his last performance. He will surely look to continue to set the tone against Memphis. While Minnesota could be without Rudy Gobert, who is questionable with a right ankle sprain, The Grizzlies are likely to have Ja Morant in the lineup since he was upgraded to probable as he deals with a foot injury. He’d be returning from a one-game absence. The +5.5 spread is favorable for Minnesota.
Knicks -6.5 (-102)
The Knicks are facing a Hawks team that has been playing well and can pose problems with their size on the wing around Trae Young. New York is coming off a blowout loss against Minneota after scoring only 99 points with Karl-Anthony Towns sidelined. The team will be eager to deliver a bounce-back performance. Towns is currently questionable to play as he deals with a thumb injury. If he can give it a go, the Knicks are well-positioned to cover the -6.5 spread at home. Otherwise, Atlanta could make things more challenging for this to pan out.
Warriors +10 (-110)
The Warriors are playing at home after a win against the Wizards, but they’re facing a Celtics team that has struggled in recent games. The Celtics have been inconsistent, going 10-9 in their last 19 games, and have had trouble in late-game situations. Despite dealing with an ankle issue, Stephen Curry has delivered impressive performances for Golden State, coming off a With Golden State’s ability to keep games close, even against tough opponents, they should be able to cover the +10 spread, especially considering Boston’s recent struggles. Golden State has the type of firepower to trim a late deficit if necessary.
Jazz +11 (-105)
The Jazz has been up and down recently, but they showed resilience in losing to the Pelicans, even though they allowed a season-high 22 three-pointers. New Orleans has been on a hot streak, but Utah has the potential to surprise, particularly with Isaiah Collier and Drew Eubanks elevating their game. New Orleans, led by Zion Williamson, is dangerous, but the spread is pretty wide for Utah not to cover if New Orleans fails to shoot nearly as well from beyond the arc in this rematch. Expect the Jazz to keep it closer than expected.
