Durant will take on the first-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers this afternoon. At age 36, Durant is still a formidable offensive force and is almost every bit as effective as a scorer as he’s always been. He’s posting averages of 27.4 PPG, 6.4 RPG, and 4.2 APG alongside 1.4 BPG.

The Cavaliers are a tough matchup and are the 11th ranked defense in the league, buoyed by Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen’s strong interior presence. The Cavs have really been successful on all fronts this season and have been especially hot as of late, going 8-2 in their previous 10 games.

Here are some of the best Kevin Durant prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Monday’s MLK day matchup:

Best Kevin Durant Prop Bet

PTS 27.5 (Over -110 / Under -120): Durant’s as steady as they come, averaging 26.8 PPG over his last ten games. Many of the games in which he’s gone under the 27.5 mark have come against bad defensive teams such as the Hornets, Wizards, and 76ers. It’s tough to predict huge scoring performances from Durant, especially nowadays, as he often takes a back seat offensively while he gets his team touches.

Tonight’s affair between the Suns and Cavaliers is not predicted to be a particularly close contest, with the Cavaliers laying 8 points at home. I’m comfortable going Under on Durant given his recent form, which has been efficient, albeit laid back. If you’re predicting Durant to pick up a bit more of the slack, especially if Bradley Beal misses tonight’s contest, then it’s a reasonable Over, as well.
