NFL Divisional Round Bets: Best Matthew Stafford Props Against The Eagles

The Rams visit the Eagles on Sunday in a win-or-go home divisional round matchup. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Philadelphia is 6.5-point favorite and this game presents a total of 43.5 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite Matthew Stafford prop to consider from this contest.

Best Matthew Stafford Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Matthew Stafford U 20.5 Completions (-110)

This line is too high for Stafford in this brutal spot vs. the Eagles. The veteran has stayed under 20.5 completions in six of his last eight games, and while he completed 24 passes when he faced Philadelphia in Week 12, this was a home game for the Rams. This time around, Stafford will be going against the Eagles and their league-best defense on the road.

The quarterback has only exceeded 20.5 completions in one of his seven road starts this season, and at home this season, the Eagles are only allowing 18.5 completions per game. In fact, only two of the ten quarterbacks that have faced the Eagles in Philadelphia this season have surpassed 20.5 completions, one of which was rookie phenom Jayden Daniels and the other was Drew Lock in Week 18, which was a meaningless game for the Eagles in which they rested all their key players.

Opposing quarterbacks have the third-lowest time to throw in the NFL when facing the Eagles and Philadelphia leads the league in average time of possession per game. Furthermore, the Eagles are giving up the fewest amount of offensive plays per game in the NFL. As 6.5 point favorites, Philadelphia should rely on their running game and Stafford and the Rams offense should run a very low amount of plays.

Stafford should fall short of 20.5 completions Sunday, possibly a solid margin, and backing him for this under is a must.
