Shai Gilgeous-Alexander injury update: January 19 vs. Nets

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is listed as questionable with a sprained right wrist for Sunday’s matchup against the Nets.

Gilgeous-Alexander sat out Friday’s contest against the Mavericks with this injury as well. It was the first game the MVP candidate missed this season. The Thunder lost 106-98 without their star.

Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 31.6 points, 6.0 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game on 53.1 percent shooting from the field. He’s also adding 2.0 steals and 1.1 blocks per game. It’s the third consecutive season he’s averaging at least 30 points per game.

The Thunder play the Nets on Sunday and return to the floor again on Wednesday against the Jazz. Both games are in Oklahoma City.
