Kyrie Irving Injury Update: January 17 vs. the Thunder

Updated:

UPDATE: Irving is available for Friday’s game and is expected to play around 33 minutes, per coach Kidd.

Irving ($9,300) missed five games due to a bulging disc in his back. He returned on Tuesday and played 30 minutes, but then sat the second leg of a back-to-back on Wednesday. He is officially questionable for Friday vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder.

There is no back-to-back situation for Dallas this weekend, as they next play in Charlotte on Monday.

If Irving is unable to go, then Spencer Dinwiddie ($6,300) would likely enter the starting lineup. He played 38 minutes on Wednesday and produced 39.25 FPTS. When Irving played on Tuesday, Dinwiddie received 20 minutes and finished with 15.5 FPTS.
