Fred VanVleet won’t play for the Rockets tonight after the team listed him out due to personal reasons. Houston is playing at Sacramento tonight amidst a three-game road trip.

The Rockets did not provide any further details on VanVleet’s personal absence for tonight’s game or when he will return to the floor.

VanVleet has played in 37 of 39 games this year and is averaging 15 points, 6.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game. Amen Thompson will likely start in place of VanVleet tonight. The second-year forward started in both games VanVleet missed this season.
