It’s a jam-packed NBA slate on Wednesday, with eleven games set to tip off across the association. That means plenty of big names are expected to take the floor, including LaMelo Ball, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Nikola Jokic. With so many stars in action, narrowing down a select group to start in season-long fantasy and DFS formats is a difficult task. Here are the three centers at the top of tonight’s fantasy basketball rankings:

1. Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets at HOU ($12,300)
The Nuggets enter the second leg of a back-to-back after dominating the Mavericks 118-99 on Tuesday. Nikola Jokic recorded a triple-double, his 16th this season, despite scoring just ten points. Through 33 games, the big man is putting up 31.2 points, 13.2 rebounds and 9.8 assists on 55.4% shooting from the field. That includes a league-leading 47.1% three-point field goal percentage.
The big man will look to get his scoring touch back on track tonight. That won’t be easy, as the Rockets are holding opposing centers to the fourth-fewest DK fantasy points this season. Still, Jokic has averaged 28.6 points, 15.2 rebounds and 8.6 assists over his last five outings vs. Houston. The three-time MVP is a clear number one on Wednesday’s fantasy basketball rankings.
2. Victor Wembanyama, San Antonio Spurs vs. MEM ($11,200)
We already knew Victor Wembanyama was terrific; the reigning Rookie of the Year was difficult to miss last season. However, it’s almost unimaginable to witness a player this dominant at such a young age. The 21-year-old has posted 25.1 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists and an NBA-best 3.9 blocks through 33 games with the Spurs.
In years past, the Grizzlies would be a formidable foe for an elite center; that’s not quite the case so far. The team has allowed the tenth-most points (115.2) and the ninth-most points in the paint (48.7) to opponents. Memphis’ league-leading pace (105.13) should ensure plenty of extra possessions for Wembanyama to wreak havoc. This rising star’s two-way excellence gives him one of the safest floors in all of fantasy basketball.
3. Karl-Anthony Towns, New York Knicks at PHI ($10,100)
The Knicks have struggled recently, losing five of their last six games. Still, New York has plenty of reasons for optimism, including down low. Offseason pickup Karl-Anthony Towns has been phenomenal, averaging 52.5 DK fantasy points per game. Through 38 appearances this season, KAT has posted 25.4 points, 13.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists on 55% shooting (44.9 3PT%).
Towns’ performance tonight is difficult to predict. The 76ers hope to have Joel Embiid healthy, but that’s far from a guarantee. Assuming the former MVP does play, KAT will have a more difficult, but still manageable, matchup. When these two teams last played on November 12th, the four-time All-Star compiled 51.75 DK fantasy points. A similar outing on Wednesday will make the big man a worthy investment as the third-ranked center.
