While this is a subpar matchup against a Miami team that ranks ninth in defensive efficiency, this line way too low for James. With a 29.6% usage rate and 43.7% assist percentage, the superstar is averaging 23.7 points and 8.8 assists per game this season. When he faced the Heat in Miami in December, James posted 29 points and eight assists.

James has been slightly better as both a scorer and playmaker at home this season, and he benefits when the Lakers win. That’s the expected outcome tonight, with Los Angeles a -205 ML favorite over Miami on DraftKings Sportsbook.

James has been a part of ten home victories for the Lakers this season and he is averaging 25.6 points and 9.3 assists per game in those wins. James has surpassed 30.5 PA in seven of those ten games; he is a very strong bet to clear this number again tonight.
