Pelicans vs. Bulls Best Bet: Zach LaVine Player Prop Trend You Need to Know

The Bulls are short home favorites on Tuesday night hosting the Pelicans, with Chicago taking about two-thirds of the money, as of 10am ET. I’m staying away from a side in this one, and continuing to ride a Zach LaVine prop that’s been red hot in 2025. Let’s break it down below.

New Orleans Pelicans at Chicago Bulls (8:00pm ET)

Nobody has been enjoying the calendar flipping to January more than LaVine, who’s been consistently playing out of his mind in 2025. He’s shooting a ridiculous 58% from the field, averaging 33.3 points per game over six games. I’ve been backing LaVine on the over to his point prop for four games in a row now, and while the number continues to creep up, he’s still been cashing for us.

LaVine has gone for at least 31 points in each of his last six, and seven of his last eight. I expect that to continue on Tuesday at home against New Orleans. The Bulls continue to play at a friendly pace for overs, the second-fastest in the NBA, just barely behind Memphis. The Pelicans shouldn’t provide much resistance here, playing at an average pace, but ranking the sixth-worst scoring defense in the NBA.

I’ll back LaVine to stay hot in this one, and drop 30 for the seventh consecutive game.

PLAY: LaVine 30+ Points (+120) 1-unit
