After winning four straight games before the end of 2024, the Philadelphia 76ers have lost five of their previous seven games. Tonight, the Sixers host the NBA’s second best team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, at 7:00 p.m. ET.
With Joel Embiid out and Tyrese Maxey questionable for tonight’s game, let’s look at my favorite prop bet for Paul George. PG is averaging 16.8 points, six rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game in his first season as a Sixer.
Paul George over 21.5 points (-125)
George has been injured this season but will be on the floor tonight. He is arguably coming off his best two-game stretch this season. He has had a 25-point double-double in the previous two games. On Sunday against the Orlando Magic, George scored 25 points with 10 rebounds and six assists. He also had made five three-pointers in both of those contests. In the six games in January, George is shooting 45.1 percent on three-pointers while attempting 17.7 field goals, 3.6 more than in December.

He scored 22 or more points against the Thunder four times in the previous eight matchups. George has played in six of Philadelphia’s last seven games and continues improving with his new team.
This season, George has shot 20-plus field goals four times. In each of those games, he has totaled more than 21.5 points. Even if Maxey does play in this game, George should be able to excel on offense without Embiid.
