The Celtics look to snap out of their recent slump against the tanking Raptors on Wednesday evening. Despite his team’s inconsistent stretch, Jayson Tatum is still playing at an elite level and is having another All-NBA campaign.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Boston is currently a 12-point favorite, with the game’s point total set at 229.5. Below, I’ve honed in on my favorite player prop centered around Tatum in this Atlantic Division showdown.

Jayson Tatum 30+ Points (+150)
It’s not yet a state of emergency in Boston, but it won’t be far away, given the current trajectory. After a dominant run to a title, Joe Mazulla’s side suffered from a mild championship hangover, treading water the last month. He hasn’t been perfect, but Jayson Tatum has done enough for his team to avoid a total collapse.
The 26-year-old is averaging over 28 points per game and has been a force in the paint. Tatum is obsessed with the three-ball, taking over ten attempts a game but converting on about 36% of his attempts. He’s a different player attacking the basket, a nearly unstoppable force around the hoop and coming off pick-and-rolls.
Tatum’s scoring output has been shaky lately, primarily due to his inefficiency from downtown. His recent performance, scoring 38 points and living around the cup late, felt like a turning point. Tatum’s a better shooter than he’s shown lately, but the stroke from distance doesn’t necessarily have to influence his final line.
The Raptors are 27th in defensive rating on the season and rank 30th over their last ten games. They lack true on-ball stoppers outside Scottie Barnes, but even the young wing is too small to neutralize Tatum.
In the prior two meetings, Tatum struggled with his jumper and didn’t take advantage of Toronto’s lack of a rim protector down low. This is a crucial crossroads for the Celtics campaign, and Tatum will be motivated to stuff the stat sheet against a familiar foe.
