With six action-packed NBA games on tap for the Monday night slate, DraftKings Sportsbook bettors can join today’s action. Here are my best bets for today’s set of games.

Before getting into betting picks, the devastating wildfires in Southern California led to the postponement of games earlier this weekend. The Lakers and Clippers will resume their schedules after a challenging week.

Here’s a look at the full schedule for today’s games:

  • Timberwolves at Wizards, 7 PM EST
  • Pistons at Knicks, 7:30 PM EST
  • Warriors at Raptors, 7:30 PM EST
  • Grizzlies at Rockets, 8 PM EST
  • Spurs at Lakers, 10:30 PM EST
  • Heat at Clippers, 10:30 PM EST

Warriors -5.5 (-112)

The Warriors are coming off a 108-96 road loss to the Pacers but were playing without Stephen Curry and Draymond Green on the second night of a back-to-back. Now, they’ll look to bounce back against the Raptors, struggling with their worst losing streak of the season. Toronto has lost 16 of its last 17 games, including a tough loss to the Pistons on Saturday.

The Raptors’ offense has been disjointed lately, and with the Warriors looking to find their rhythm after a slow stretch, Golden State should cover the -5.5 spread. Toronto’s lack of offensive consistency and defensive struggles should make it challenging to keep up with a hungry Warriors squad looking to rebound.

Pistons +8 (-112)

The Knicks are coming off a dominant 140-106 win over the Bucks, but they’re facing an important question with Jalen Brunson’s status. Brunson left the game with a shoulder injury but returned to score 12 more points in a thrilling second half. The Knicks will likely need their star player fully healthy for this game, especially as they face a Pistons squad that’s been on the rise.

The Pistons have been playing well lately, winning 11 of their last 15 games. Cade Cunningham has been a significant force for Detroit, averaging 24.9 points, 10.1 assists, and 6.1 rebounds during this stretch. With their offense clicking and the Knicks possibly missing Brunson at full strength, Detroit has a solid chance to cover the +8 spread. The Pistons’ momentum makes them a dangerous underdog as they try to send a message to the rest of the Eastern Conference.

Rockets -2 (-108)

The Rockets enter tonight’s matchup against the Grizzlies with some confidence after a strong performance in their 119-115 victory over Memphis just a few days ago. Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun have been a formidable duo for Houston, and if they continue to thrive together, the Rockets have a good chance of covering the -2 spread.

While led by Ja Morant, Memphis has struggled to find consistency in recent games as he works to gain his rhythm. Assuming recent production from Green and Sengun continues, the Rockets should have the edge. Look for Houston to bounce back from their challenging schedule and grab another win against a Grizzlies team still adjusting to recent lineup changes.

Lakers -3.5 (-112)

After a challenging week off due to the wildfires, the Lakers return home against the Spurs. The Lakers’ struggles with consistency and defense have been evident recently, but they’ll look to regain their footing with extra time to rest. LeBron James and Anthony Davis should be well-rested, and the Lakers will need both stars to step up to get back on track.

San Antonio, led by Victor Wembanyama, has struggled to string together wins recently, and the Lakers, despite their inconsistencies, have the depth and experience to cover the -3.5 spread. Expect the Lakers to pull away late as James and Davis lead them to a win at home.

Heat +6 (-108)

The Heat will face the Clippers in a matchup where Miami has been on a roll despite missing Jimmy Butler. Miami has won its last two games, including a 119-98 victory over the Trail Blazers. Tyler Herro has been playing at an All-Star level, scoring 32 points in the win over Portland, and the Heat have been improving on both ends of the floor.

The Clippers are coming off a tough loss to the Nuggets and are still figuring out their lineup, with Kawhi Leonard returning from his time away from the team due to the wildfires. While Leonard’s return adds depth, the Clippers have been inconsistent, and Miami has shown that they can compete at a high level even without Butler. Given the Heat’s improving execution and the Clippers’ struggles, Miami is a solid pick to cover the +6 spread in this one.
