The Commanders are visiting the Buccaneers in a win-or-go home Wild Card matchup on Sunday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Tampa Bay is favored by three points and this game carries a total of 50.5 points.
Below, I have featured my favorite Terry McLaurin prop to consider from this contest.
Best Terry McLaurin Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Terry McLaurin O 63.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
McLaurin’s excellent first season with Jayden Daniels should continue in this Wild Card matchup vs. the Buccaneers. While leading the Commanders with a 23.3% target share, McLaurin has caught 82 passes for 1,096 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, resulting in 64.5 yards per game. The wideout has been one of the most heavily utilized deep threats in the NFL with Daniels under center, with McLaurin owning a 13.9 aDOT and ranking seventh in targets over 20 yards (29).
Tampa Bay held McLaurin to only 17 yards in Week 1, but this was his first career game with Daniels in the rookie’s NFL debut. It took a few games for McLaurin and Daniels to find their chemistry, and the Buccaneers’ zone-heavy defense is a perfect spot for McLaurin to flourish. Tampa Bay uses zone coverage at the second-highest rate in the NFL and McLaurin ranks ninth in receiving yards against zone this season (805). Plus, the Buccaneers are allowing the most receptions in the league to players who line up wide (170), which bodes extremely well for McLaurin, with 83.9% of routes coming out wide this season.
This game’s 50.5-point total is easily the highest of Wild Card weekend and McLaurin is a strong bet for over 63.5 receiving yards in this likely shootout.
