Jalen McMillan best bets for Buccaneers vs. Commanders

The Buccaneers are hosting the Commanders in a win-or-go home Wild Card matchup on Sunday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Tampa Bay is favored by three points and this game carries a total of 50.5 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite Jalen McMillan prop to consider from this contest.

Jalen McMillan O 4.5 Receptions (+115)

With Chris Godwin (knee) out for the season, McMillan has solidified himself as the Buccaneers’ No.2 receiving option behind Mike Evans. McMillan has finished with five receptions in four straight games and during this four-game stretch, the rookie has handled a 18.2% target share and a team-high 87% route rate.

McMillan has scored seven touchdowns in his last five games and Baker Mayfield should look his way often in this matchup with the Commanders. Washington CB Marshon Lattimore (hamstring) will be returning from a two-game absence and he and Evans’ infamous rivalry should continue in this do-or-die matchup. In Week 6, when Lattimore was still with the Saints, he locked up Evans for only two catches and 34 yards on six targets. Lattimore and Evans notoriously dislike each other, and in the last five tilts these two have gone head-to-head, Lattimore has limited Evans to only 2.2 catches and 39.4 yards per game.

Lattimore being Evans’ kryptonite is a real thing and with these two battling all game long, Mayfield should rely on McMillan. Double-digit targets is a real possibility for the rookie in this 50.5-point total – which is the highest total of Wild Card Weekend – and at this enticing price of +115, McMillan is a terrific bet for over 4.5 receptions.
