Jayden Daniels gets his first taste of NFL postseason action tonight when he heads into Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers. Washington finds itself as a three-point underdog and the game total is set at 50.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook. This game features the highest total of Wild Card Weekend, so we should expect a healthy dose of touchdowns.

Jalen McMillan First TD Scorer (+1000)
Operating under the assumption that it takes Daniels a drive or two to adjust to the postseason fully, choosing one of Baker Mayfield’s favorite weapon feels like a solid idea. McMillan scored the first touchdown in two separate games this season and has turned seven of his red zone receptions into four touchdowns.
Washington’s defense allowed the seventh-most touchdowns to opposing wide receivers this season and McMillan has lived in the end zone in the back half of the season. The Commanders field one of the worst defenses of the remaining playoff teams and I’m expecting Mayfield to take advantage of it. Mayfield threw for at least 288 passing yards in five of the final seven regular season games and will continue to air it out.
McMillan draws a beautiful matchup too, especially when factoring in the Marshon Lattimore-Mike Evans beef. Evans would usually feast on a secondary like this but Lattimore is truly his kryptonite. As a result, this will leave outside cornerback, Benjamin St-Juste, with the task of covering McMillan. Per Next Gen Stats, St-Juste sports a 28.3 target EPA, which ranks fifth-worst among defensive backs with at least 300 coverage snaps.
