The Rams look to end the Vikings’ magical run in the final game of Wild Card weekend. Matthew Stafford has a 114 postseason passer rating in royal blue and gold and won’t have too many more opportunities to compete for his second ring.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Los Angeles is currently a 2.5-point underdog, with the game’s total set at 47.5 points. Below, I’ve detailed my favorite prop bet centered around Stafford in this NFC clash.
Best Matthew Stafford Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Matthew Stafford 250+ Yards (+110)
Sean McVay wants to pound the rock. Kyren Williams had the third most rushing attempts in the league and routinely received over 20 carries an outing. That will be a difficult proposition against Minnesota, which has the NFL’s best EPA against the run. Los Angeles will have to opt to win behind the arm of Matthew Stafford, who shines in primetime.
Stafford has been in a rut and has only thrown for over 200 yards once in his last five games. Cooper Kupp, being a non-factor, has hurt Stafford, who relies on his superstar pass catcher to create separation underneath.
It’s hard to imagine this aerial attack doesn’t rise to the occasion when it matters most. Even without a true home-field advantage, the impending uptick in dropbacks should help Stafford soar past the 250-yard mark.
