NFL Wild Card Weekend rolls on with a trio of intriguing matchups with major Super Bowl indications.

DraftKings DFS Value Picks

Brian Robinson Jr. ($5,800)

After starting the year as a fantasy breakout, Brian Robinson Jr.’s star has faded in recent weeks. The third-year bruiser had some early career flashes but took a leap thanks to improved blocking up front and a Pro Bowl quarterback under center. The total yards rarely stood out on the stat sheet, but the effectiveness near the goal line skyrocketed his stock. Across his last seven outings, the inefficiency has been too much to overcome, only averaging more than four yards a carry twice in that stretch.

Although he’s an asset on a downward trajectory, the matchup is too favorable to ignore. Tampa has the 14th-best EPA against the rush but has been vulnerable, generating penetration up front. Robinson netted over 17 fantasy points in the prior meeting and should be in line for a similar figure this go-round.

DeVonta Smith ($5,700)

When you see an All-Pro caliber player at this price tag, you must take advantage of it. DeVonta Smith failed to crack the 1,000 mark but only played 13 games and endured an inconsistent campaign from Jalen Hurts. Smith is still a premier route runner who creates ample separation. He’s starting to reintegrate himself as a focal point of this offense, hoping to elevate this aerial attack.

Smith’s had at least seven targets in three consecutive showings, crossing the century mark twice in that span. Green Bay will likely load the box and make Hurts beat them with his arm. That opens the door for expanded opportunity for Smith, who would be a WR1 in most situations. Since his time in Alabama, he’s performed when the lights are brightest — this should be no different.

Jalen McMillan ($5,200)

The “All Value MVP,” Jalen McMillan, went from struggling to get on the field to one of the top rookie wideouts in the blink of an eye. He’s a master at working the middle of the field and fighting for yards after the catch.

His DFS value has soared thanks to his prowess in the end zone. McMillan has scored seven touchdowns in five weeks, the most of any receiver in that span. Washington’s secondary has been a weak spot all season and is below the league average in EPA per pass. He’s having a historic run with no signs of slowing down. McMillan should find a place in everyone’s lineup.
