The 2025 NFL Playoffs are starting, which means a good portion of April’s draft order is now set. Here is a look at my 2025 first-round NFL Mock Draft and some related draft props at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Draft positions 19-32 are based on projected postseason finish.
1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, Quarterback, Miami (FL)
Cam Ward is the -150 favorite to be the #1 pick at DraftKings Sportsbook. The quarterback was a Heisman finalist after an incredible season at Miami. After this season, it is clear that Will Levis is not the long-term solution for the Titans at quarterback. Cam Ward can come in and make an immediate impact on this offense if his college style can translate to the NFL.
2. Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter, Athlete, Colorado
Travis Hunter is a once-in-a-generation talent. The only question is how his game will translate to the NFL level and which side of the ball he will be asked to play in the pros. Hunter won the 2024 Heisman Trophy after his historic season at Colorado as both an elite cornerback and receiver. It still remains unclear whether Hunter will continue to play on both sides of the ball in the NFL, but regardless of where he lines up, the Browns need help at almost every position. They should take the most talented player available, and that is Hunter.
3. New York Giants: Shedeur Sanders, Quarterback, Colorado
The Giants moved on from Daniel Jones midseason and neither Tommy DeVito nor Drew Lock were able to prove much in that offense. The Giants did find two gems on offense in last year’s draft with Malik Nabers and Tyrone Tracy Jr. If they can add high-level quarterback play to that offense, the Giants could take a big leap next season. Sanders is likely to be the second quarterback off the board and will go right after his Colorado teammate, Travis Hunter.
4. New England Patriots: Mason Graham, DL, Michigan
Mason Graham is a good choice as the first defensive player to go off the board. Graham had an incredible career at Michigan, which included a national championship. The Patriots are looking to rebuild with a new head coach next season and solidifying the defense is the first step. They think they have found their quarterback of the future in Drake Maye, so now they pivot to the other side of the ball and build up that defensive line.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Will Campbell, OT, LSU
The Jaguars lost Trevor Lawrence to an injury this season, partially due to poor offensive line play. The Jaguars have some stars on both sides of the ball, they just need to improve in the trenches. Offensive tackle Will Campbell from LSU is the best offensive lineman in this class and Jacksonville should look to make him the cornerstone of their future by protecting Trevor Lawrence.
6. Las Vegas Raiders: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
Tetairoa McMillan is an athletic freak. He is one of the most talented wide receivers of the past few years in college football and should be a top-ten pick in the draft. In this scenario, the Raiders have decided to move forward with Aidan O’Connell at quarterback. They found a gem in Brock Bowers at tight end in the draft last year. If they can add a dynamic receiver to that offense, they could make some real strides next season under a new coaching staff.
7. New York Jets: Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
The Jets had a massively disappointing season and need to keep adding talent to their roster. The Aaron Rodgers circus gets all of the headlines but it was really the Jets’ defense that held them back in a lot of games this season. They lacked an elite pass-rusher this season after Haason Reddick’s disappointing season. Abdul Carter can immediately be that guy for the Jets and get them back toward that elite defensive level that they had in 2023.
8. Carolina Panthers: James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
James Pearce Jr. is one of the most talented players in college football. Once Abdul Carter comes off the board, someone will want to scoop Pearce as soon as possible. Bryce Young showed massive signs of improvement toward the end of the season and the Panthers have some good offensive weapons. They need to prioritize improving their run defense and Pearce can be both an elite pass-rusher and run-stopper, so he can’t be passed up.
9. New Orleans Saints: Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
Once these EDGEs start to go, they will go fast. Mykel Williams is a sensational player and had a great season at Georgia. The Saints’ offense should bounce back next season when they get healthy. They dealt with terrible injuries on that side of the ball all season but have a lot of talented players. They should try to grab a defensive player in the draft to improve that side of the ball and Williams could be the perfect fit.
10. Chicago Bears: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
The Bears had a massively disappointing season. They cleaned house on the coaching staff and will look to try again next year. Their franchise QB Caleb Williams was broken by the end of the season due to the terrible offensive line play they dealt with. Kelvin Banks Jr. is one of the top linemen in the draft and the Bears can make him a cornerstone at tackle for years to come.
11. San Francisco 49ers: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
The 49ers are another team that had a disappointing season. However, they are loaded with offensive weapons when they get healthy, so they should draft on the defensive side of the ball. Will Johnson was one of the most talented players in college football over the past several seasons and he is the top defensive back in the draft. Johnson would be a great fresh face on a San Francisco defense that has been so good over the past few years.
12. Dallas Cowboys: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
The Cowboys had a throwaway season with Dak Prescott getting hurt so early on. CeeDee Lamb is a superstar at wide receiver but the other offensive weapons are really lacking. The Cowboys need someone to partner up with Lamb on the offensive side of the ball and Warren is the perfect candidate. He was a superstar at Penn State and performed at a high level against some of the best defenses in college football. He could be the franchise tight end in Dallas for the next decade.
13. Miami Dolphins: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
It looks like Tyreek Hill may be on the outs in Miami and they could look to replace him at wide receiver. Mike McDaniel is sticking around as head coach and he is an elite offensive mind who will want to add a new weapon. Luther Burden is among the top wide receiver prospects in this class and could be the perfect Tyreek Hill replacement.
14. Indianapolis Colts: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
The Colts are figuring a lot of things out on offense, but they certainly need to strengthen their secondary. Benjamin Morrison is playing for a national championship at Notre Dame and has shut down some elite wide receivers across college football. Morrison could be the future of the Indianapolis defense and help them on that side of the ball.
15. Atlanta Falcons: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
The Falcons have an incoming sophomore quarterback and a large collection of skill position players on offense. They need to make some improvements on the defensive side of the ball and they can look in-state at Malaki Starks from Georgia. Starks is a supremely athletic safety that can blitz, stop the run, and ball-hawk like a true safety. He could be a major difference-maker as the Falcons look to build into the Michael Penix Jr. era.
16. Arizona Cardinals: Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
The Cardinals went with a wide receiver in the first round last season. This offseason, they need to focus on the defense. Nic Scourton is an elite pass-rusher and could be the difference-maker that Arizona needs on that side of the ball.
17. Cincinnati Bengals: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
The Bengals had one of the best offenses in the NFL this season but didn’t even make the playoffs because their defense was so bad. They were particularly weak in the secondary and should address that in the draft. Nick Emmanwori can get into the box and be a run-stuffer but is also a great ball-hawk in the secondary. He could be the first key piece to rebuilding the Bengals’ secondary.
18. Seattle Seahawks: Shemar Stewart, DL, Texas A&M
The Seahawks have a lot of offensive weapons but they need to improve on the defensive side of the ball. Shemar Stewart was a star at Texas A&M and with his former teammate Nic Scourton off the board, Stewart won’t be far behind. The Seahawks addressed the defensive line last offseason and should continue to rebuild it through the draft this offseason.
19. Houston Texans: Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan
The Texans had a lot of offensive injuries but once they get healthy on that side of the ball, they should have one of the best offenses in football. They had a great defense this season but with a defensive head coach in DeMeco Ryans, they will want to keep improving on defense. They already have elite EDGE rushers with Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter. They can add the huge Kenneth Grant to the middle of that defensive line as the run-stuffer in between those two pass rushers.
20. Denver Broncos: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Ashton Jeanty was the Heisman runner-up and had a historic season at Boise State. By some metrics, the Broncos had the best defense in football this season, and they have found their quarterback of the future with Bo Nix. The Broncos could try to keep Jeanty in the mountain time zone and bring him to Denver. Jeanty could be the destructive rushing force that they need to help out their young quarterback.
21. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Walter Nolen, DL, Ole Miss
The Buccaneers had one of the best offenses in football this season but they need to improve on the defensive side of the ball. Walter Nolen was a star at Ole Miss and his game should immediately translate to the NFL level. Nolen is pro-ready and could jump right in with this playoff team and make an impact.
22. Pittsburgh Steelers: Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss
The Steelers are lacking offensive weapons. George Pickens showed flashes of being a true WR1 this season, but he cannot be relied upon on or off the field. The Steelers need to add another top-tier wide receiver to this offense and Ole Miss’ Tre Harris could be that guy. Harris was one of the nation’s best wide receivers before suffering a late-season injury. He should be a great NFL receiver.
23. Los Angeles Rams: Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia
The Rams are loaded at the skill positions so they will likely look to add on the defensive side of the ball. Jalon Walker is another player in a long line of elite Georgia defenders. He could be the elite pass-rusher that the Rams have been looking for since Aaron Donald retired.
24. Green Bay Packers: Landon Jackson, EDGE, Arkansas
The Packers are another team loaded with offensive talent that needs to bolster their defense. Landon Jackson was a star at Arkansas and could immediately make an impact on the Green Bay defense.
25. Los Angeles Chargers: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Nobody would put it past Jim Harbaugh to target one of his former players in this year’s draft. The Chargers hit on Ladd McConkey at wide receiver in last year’s draft and they can get Justin Herbert another weapon in Loveland. Loveland was a key member of Jim Harbaugh’s national championship-winning Michigan team and had another productive season in 2024 despite the lack of quality QB play. He could immediately have a big impact and join Travis Kelce and Brock Bowers as elite tight ends in the AFC West.
26. Washington Commanders: Jonah Savaiinea, OT, Arizona
Jonah Savaiinea has the potential to skyrocket up draft boards between now and April. He is a monster offensive tackle and can play multiple positions on the line. The Commanders have found their quarterback of the future and now need to protect him. Savaiinea would be the perfect player to invest in for Washington’s new era.
27. Baltimore Ravens: Tyleik Williams, DL, Ohio State
The Ravens have one of the best rosters in the NFL so they can really just take the most talented player on the board, rather than targeting a specific position. That player is Tyleik Williams, the Ohio State defensive tackle. The Ravens could always use an extra run-stuffer and Tyleik Williams can be that guy.
28. Minnesota Vikings: Derrick Harmon, DL, Oregon
The Vikings need to decide on their quarterback of the future but one thing is for sure, they will want to continue to add to their defense. Derrick Harmon was a standout at Oregon and has risen up draft boards because of his insane athletic physique. He could help improve this Vikings defense that was already so good this season.
29. Buffalo Bills: J.T. Tuimoloau, EDGE, Ohio State
J.T. Tuimoloau was a major difference-maker at Ohio State. He can be an EDGE or a linebacker at the NFL level and can do everything you would want out of a player in your front seven. Tuimoloau would be a great addition to a Bills team that should keep competing for Super Bowls as long as Josh Allen is their quarterback.
30. Philadelphia Eagles: Tyler Booker, OL, Alabama
The Eagles have a long history of drafting offensive linemen so they always have good depth on the line. Mekhi Becton has had injury and fitness issues throughout his NFL career and Booker could either take his starting role right away, or be a depth piece that could fill in at different positions if needed.
31. Detroit Lions: Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss
The Lions had the best offense in the NFL this season, so they are likely to target a defensive player in the draft. They were an elite run defense but could use some help in the secondary, meaning Ole Miss cornerback Trey Amos would be a great selection. He was a first-team All-SEC performer this season and could be an immediate difference-maker for the Lions.
32. Kansas City Chiefs: Mike Green, DE, Marshall
Mike Green was the first All-American at Marshall since Randy Moss. The Chiefs don’t have any real “position of need” so they can target the most talented player, which could easily be Green. He had an incredible 17 sacks in 2024 despite getting much attention from opposing offensive lines. If he joins the Chiefs’ stars on the defensive line, he could instantly translate as an elite pass-rusher in the NFL.
