The NFL playoffs kick off this weekend with six games spread across Saturday, Sunday and Monday. While the Lions and Chiefs enjoy their bye week the other 12 playoff teams are in action in the Wild Card Round looking to advance to next week’s Division Round of the postseason. It should be an awesome weekend of football, so let’s take a look at some of the betting trends coming into these contests.
Each week throughout the regular season, I’ve posted the relevant info for the biggest matchups from DraftKings Sportsbook to help you find the stats and trends that matter. I’ll continue to post the betting trends for each matchup during the postseason. You can use these numbers to fill out your Wild Card Round betting card with single bets or combine them into an awesome parlay. Just a quick reminder before we begin: “SU” means “Straight Up,” while “ATS” stands for “Against the Spread.” Spreads used in records are taken from DraftKings Sportsbook at the kickoff of each game.

Los Angeles Chargers at Houston Texans

The Chargers and Texans get the weekend underway with their first meeting since 2022. In their history, the teams have faced off nine games, with the Chargers going 6-3 SU/7-2 ATS against the Texans in their history.
The Chargers come into the matchup with some good momentum. They are 8-3 SU in their last 11 games and 5-1 ATS in their last six. The Bolts are also 5-0 ATS in their last five road games. They finished the regular season last week with three straight SU/ATS wins, including Sunday’s 34-20 win in Las Vegas against the Raiders. The Chargers are also 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games as the favorite and went 5-1 ATS as road favorites this season.
The Texans are 11-5 SU in their last 16 games against the AFS but only 1-5 SU in their last six against the AFC West. They’re 4-1 ATS in their last five games in January, but only 1-6 SU in their last seven games as the underdog.
The under is 12-4 in the Chargers’ last 16 road games and 6-2 in the Texans’ last eight home games. The over is 4-2 in the last six head-to-head matchups between these teams and 4-1 in the Chargers’ last five overall.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens

The Steelers and Ravens split their two games this season. Pittsburgh won at home in Week 11, 18-16, but the Ravens got a convincing home win in Week 16, 34-17.
The Steelers are 8-4 ATS in their last 12 games overall and 8-2 SU in their last 10 against the Ravens. Pittsburgh is 10-4 SU in its last 14 divisional games and 13-7 SU in its last 20 Saturday games. The Steelers are 0-5 SU/ATS in their last five playoff games and come into this week just 1-4 SU in their last five games.
The Ravens are 5-1 SU/ATS in their last six overall and 6-1 SU in their last seven home games. However, the Ravens are just 2-6 ATS in their last eight home playoff games and 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games against the Steelers.
The under is 11-1-1 in the Ravens’ last 13 playoff games as the favorite and 9-0-1 in their last 10 home playoff matchups. The over is 10-3 in the Ravens’ last 13 overall and 6-1 in the Steelers’ last seven road games.
Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills

The Broncos and Bills match up in Buffalo in the first game on Sunday. The two teams most recently met in November of 2023, when the Broncos beat the Bills in Buffalo, 24-22, by kicking a last-minute field goal.
The Broncos secured their Wild Card spot by beating the Chiefs SU/ATS last week while Kansas City was resting many of their starters. They are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games on a Sunday but only 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games against the Bills. The Broncos are 0-5 SU/1-4 ATS in their last five games as underdogs.
On the other side of this matchup, the Bills are 10-2 SU/8-4 ATS in their last 12 games, and they are 8-0 SU in their last eight home games.
The over is 4-1 in the Bills’ last five games and 7-1 in their last eight games against the AFC. The over is also 9-4 in the Broncos’ last 13 contests overall and 5-1 in their last six road games.
Green Bay Packers at Philadelphia Eagles

The Packers and Eagles met back in Week 1 in Brazil, where the Eagles emerged with a 34-29 win behind three touchdowns from Saquon Barkley. Jordan Love was also injured at the end of that high-scoring contest, which was the first NFL game played in South America and got a primetime spot on Friday night to start the year. They’ll be in Philadelphia in the late Sunday afternoon window for this rematch.
The Packers are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games as the underdog and 8-1 SU in their last nine Sunday road games. They come into the playoffs with some nice momentum after going 9-4 SU in their last 13 games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven. Green Bay is 9-3-1 ATS as playoff underdogs dating back to 2003.
The Eagles also come in on a nice role, going 12-1 SU in their last 13 games and 7-2 ATS in their last nine. They are 7-0 SU in their last seven home games and 11-3 SU in their last 14 home games against the Packers. The Eagles are also 6-2 ATS in their last eight games against the NFC and 6-2 ATS in their last eight Sunday games.
The under is 8-0 in the Eagles’ last eight games played in January, 12-2 in their last 14 as playoff favorites, and 6-3 in their last nine games overall. However, the over is 11-4 in the Packers’ last 15 road games and 14-3 in their last 17 against the NFC East.
Washington Commanders at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Commanders are back in the postseason for the first time since 2020, and they’ll visit the Bucs in another rematch of a Week 1 game. The Bucs won in Jayden Daniels’ NFL debut, 37-20, but the rookie then led the Commanders to a 12-5 record that earned them this Wild Card rematch in Tampa Bay.
The Commanders finished the year by winning five straight games and going 5-2 SU in their last seven road games. However, they are 3-10 SU in their last 13 as the underdog and only 3-8 SU in their last 11 games when playing the Bucs on the road.
For the home team, the Bucs had to win last week against the Saints to secure a playoff spot. They went 6-1 SU in their last seven games and 6-3 ATS in their last nine to close out the season. The Bucs went 12-4 SU in their last 16 January games and went 16-5 SU in their last 21 games as the favorite.
The over is 11-3 in the Buccaneers’ last 14 games overall and 5-2 in their last seven home games. The over is also 12-6 in the Commanders’ last 18 games but only 1-5 in their last six games played in January.
Minnesota Vikings at Los Angeles Rams

The Vikings and Rams close out the week on Monday Night Football in a rematch of their Thursday Night game from Week 8. The Rams won that game, 30-20, in the return of Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp after extended injury layoffs. Both teams lost SU last week with the Rams resting their starters in a loss to the Seahawks while the Vikings lost the Sunday Night Football showdown against the Lions in Detroit.
The Vikings were on a roll before losing to the Lions and hadn’t lost since facing the Rams in Week 8. Minnesota is just 1-4 ATS in its last five playoff games and 3-9 ATS in its last 12 January games, but it is 17-3 in its last 20 games as road favorites, including 8-2-3 ATS in its last 13 games in that situation. The Vikings are 6-1 SU in their last seven against the NFC and 4-2 ATS in their last six against the NFC West.
The Rams are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games as home underdogs and went 5-1 SU/ATS in their last six games to finish the season. The Rams are 9-4 SU in their last 13 home games but only 1-6 SU in their last seven games against the NFC North.
The over is 11-4 in the last 15 games between these two teams, but the under is 5-0 in the Rams’ last five Monday games and 13-2 in the Vikings’ last 15 games played on Monday.
